I honestly don't think that many people even read my blog. Those who do are lurkers and don't make themselves known through comments anyway. I haven't been blogging as long as you have but in the year since I started my blog it has become a kind of journal of the goings on in my life. I too don't often write about very personal things but I write more about what I'm up to. It's helpful for me because i can go back and remember and see how God has been working through situations. The things I write in my blog wouldn't get written down if it weren't for my blog.

I don't think you should feel pressured to write or not write by your readership. Write when you feel like it and about what you feel like! But going against what I just told you about not feeling pressured, I hope that you'll keep writing because your blog is one of the few that I actually read all the time. Most blogs I only lurk occasionally. :) I love you Ann!!!! bjosPamelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09271568634186169660noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6736097.post-86575229922173242832007-07-31T14:17:00.000-05:002007-07-31T14:17:00.000-05:00having a blog for 3 years is quite an accomplishme...having a blog for 3 years is quite an accomplishment. it should encourage you not to shut down your blog at all! look at all that you've recorded in the past. look at everything you've gone through, learned, loved and hated. look at the times when you did talk about what was important ... is it still important or have you changed? you have ... and that's excited to watch on a blog.

yeah, it's a crappy medium for relationships but it's still a medium. my dad loves your blog and will probably ground me for writing this but you enlighten him and he cares about what you have to say. you have a huge unique readership of people just like him who love and read what you write.

inspiration is a funny thing. i've felt like you about my blog many many a times. but we gotta keep writing. even if we're the only people who read it - it's important for some reason. =)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07311001680928706203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6736097.post-6643853565178660542007-07-30T21:57:00.000-05:002007-07-30T21:57:00.000-05:00Hey, write when you feel like it. I love all your ...Hey, write when you feel like it. I love all your stuff, your deep thoughts, your petty thoughts, and the stuff about your life. But don't feel obligated to write.

You're right, blogging relationships aren't the same as those in real life, but don't discount them. You can learn a lot about someone by what they write on their blog. And besides there are those of us who wouldn't know anything about you if you didn't blog...Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13521819301171309835noreply@blogger.com
