That said, I'm trying to branch out into different styles of photography. If you've read long, you have been assaulted with my love of the macro flower shots, but this week The Pioneer Woman's photography contest was themed Americana, so I made myself go find some subject matter. Here is what I came up with (I'm also playing around with textures because of the Americana theme).

Hi, I just wandered over to your blog from The Road Less Traveled Blog. I'm from OK too. Love the picture of the cow (all of the pics on this post actually). I'm trying to teach myself textures using Photoshop Elements. I finally am able to put texture on a picture, just not sure how to take it off certain areas of the picture :( But I'm learning! I look forward to reading more about your photography. Amy
